Lab Rules...
- Do not run in the Science Lab
- Do not eat or drink in the Science Lab
- Be safe in the Science Lab
- Do Not touch anything you are unsure of in the Science Lab
- Listen to the teachers if you are in the Science Lab

- Safety in the laboratory …
- You must follow the Instructions given to you by your teacher.
- Enter
- Report
- Shoes
- Eat/Drink
- Safety Glasses
- Tell
- Hands

How does it lead to an Accident…?
- Not putting your bag under the workbench or desk…. You could trip over it.
- Running Around The Laboratory… If someone is working you could bump them and whatever they are doing they could spill/burn himself.
- Not tying your hair up… Your hair could get in your face and annoy you and if you touch some liquid and it gets in your hair….
- Shaking A Test Tube with your thumb over its mouth… If you take your thumb off of it it could fizz up or even go BOOM!
- Entering The Laboratory without your shoes on… Something could drop on your foot or someone could stand on it.
