Different Artwork Techniques 🎨

For the past few weeks, we have been applying different art techniques and styles we could incorporate into our pieces of art. We have been creating stencils, abstract, blending and then just our own thing as well as using gesso. My favourite was using the gesso due to the fact that it dried faster and you could sketch out a little drawing onto it. I enjoyed working with different paints and trying to create something. It was a challenge since we couldn't throw out our "messed up" art pieces, so if we messed up we would have to keep going and own that mistake. I think the best one was the stencil since it was quick and easy but you had to use the stencil carefully. Then for my abstract, I just went for it, as well for the blending I just tried to make it work. Anyways gesso was the coolest and best one to work with.

  1. Kia ora Alesha, i really like the photos you have used of your pieces because they have this nice authentic 'in the art room' feel to them. Im also very pleased with William's commenting on the post too! well done William. Looking back i feel i haven't given you enough time to finish your work off properly and I feel a bit bad about that! You are most welcome to come in and work on this during break times if you want too. Thank you for the post and the work you put in during class.
