"What The Hell Is Yeast?"

So this week we got to do some free writing. I wanted to write about my idol but didn't want too because I didn't have any great idea's for a story. Then it came to mind that I should write about what my idol has said. See if you can guess him, he said "What the hell is yeast?" If you guessed Shawn Mendes then you are right! Then I came up with a plot but still didn't know where the story would of been set. So I decided to grab a writing picture. I ended up with a supermarket picture. I hope you like my story and also below is the picture!

George! George! George! My eyes flung open and I was looking at a white roof. I was nice and warm and I wanted to shut my eyes again when I finally realised, I needed to check my phone! What would I do if I didn’t check my cell phone first. My wife Katie came up to the bedroom where I was and told me that my phone was ringing over and over again. I laid down in my bed for a few more minutes until my phone had rung again. I sat up instantly and got a grip on my phone. I pulled the charger out and pushed the answer button. I put the phone up to my ear with my wife looking really nervous at me as she sat down on a leather chair in our room, playing with her greyish brown strands of hair.

“Hello?” I said a little nervous. “Hello is this George Barrett?” A deep voice said to me on the phone. “Yes I’m George Barrett why do you ask?” I answered confidently. “Ahh George we have been trying to ring you for half an hour, I’m Bob here to ask you a question.” I looked over at Katie and she was on her phone doing something on it. I said back to this Bob fella. “It better not be a scam or I will hunt you down and-” I got cut off by Bob saying, “Woah,Woah,Woah wait, I was here to offer you a job.” “Oh sorry I got ahead of myself, but what job?” I replied back. “Would you like to be in one of Shawn Mendes music videos?” “Yes text me through the details see you soon!” I said in a happy way! “Bye” Bob said and I got up and got dressed as Katie redid her makeup.

Since Katie was the prime minister of Canada, yes Canada that's where we live anyways we got into this huge black limo and we even got to bring our German shepherd dog Jake! After a 20 minute drive it started to snow and we got to this studio at 10am. I got out of the limo with Katie and Jake. As the driver of the limo drove off they were flicking white, cold fluffy snow at Katie and the dog. I laughed until we had to push our way into the building because all of these teenage girls were screaming and shouting in my ear. I think I would lose my ability to hear because of all of these girls screaming!

We entered the building and saw this guy with black hair wearing a black suit but to me he looked like a bodyguard. He walked over to a camera where we saw this tall young man with amazing brown hair and hazel eyes. He was wearing a blue shirt with black jeans and He looked like he was around an height of 6'2. I think he was Shawn? Anyways Katie put Jake onto his lead and they went somewhere as I walked up to the dude who looked like a bodyguard. He said “You must be George!” I thought I knew that voice from somewhere until I said “Yes I’m George who are you?” He said back to me, “Oh sorry I’m Bob that one who you said that you were gonna hunt me down.” Bob laughed as I walked over to the boy with the amazing brown hair, I wish I had hair like that!

As I approached him he said, “Hi I’m Shawn, Shawn Mendes that is!” I replied back by saying “Oh hi Shawn , I’m George!” After that conversation we did hair, makeup and we got changed into some clothes for the music video until….. “GEORGE THE DOG!” Katie screamed at me! I was getting my hair re-done and I ran straight to Katie who was in the studio. This was the first time I went into the studio. The walls were blue and the ground was green. I saw tables, chairs, plants knocked over. It looked like World War 2 but the objects replacing people. Bob came in and saw the mess. I was surprised he didn’t get mad and turn red like a tomato! Oh wait Shawn hates tomatoes so that's probably why!

As everyone was busy helping clean up the mess we didn’t know where Jake was. The next thing we know is Jake some how opening the door and hearing screaming fans run in! They went straight to Shawn surrounding him and taking pictures. Then Bob came over to Shawn and started to get the fans away from Shawn. I knew he was a bodyguard I just knew it! Bob then was trying to get all of the Shawn Mendes fans out of the building. I decided to help him and we finally got them all out. After we got the fans out Shawn said, "Wow the Mendes Army are crazy!" I said back, "What is the Mendes Army?" Shawn smiled at me and said, "The Mendes Army are all of my fans, it is just their name for the fan base" Then Shawn walked away. Since the studio is now cleaned up Katie distracts Jake by playing with a yellow tennis ball.

When we finished the music video everyone cheered and celebrated! I shook hands with Shawn and we also had a picture together! After all that celebrating Katie, Jake and I had to go home because Katie had a meeting with Donald Trump! I’m glad we sorted things out with Jake and finished the music video, but I'm not looking forward to see Donald Trump, yet I think he should be in Mexico if that wall ever goes up!

Fun Shopping in Nelson // Writing

Are we there yet? Has it been 5 hours yet? Please tell me we are here I’m hungry! It was the holidays, Dad, Mum and I went up to Nelson mainly for dads work. I was so hungry after a 5 hour drive but it didn’t help I woke up at 1:45am! Then I had to get into dad's truck which meant I had to climb the stairs to get into the truck. It was like climbing the tall M.T Everest because it was that early in the morning. The bad thing was that I had a pretty amazing dream! Anyways I got into the big giant truck and dad drives down the road and I was thinking my phone better keep its charge!  Ok, where to start oh yes 7am at McDonalds. We had McDonalds for breakfast but that part is so,so,so,so boring! Now let's start at a more interesting part of the day.

It was Thursday at 8am in the morning. Mum always has wanted to shop at Richmond mall. Richmond is a place in Nelson like one of the towns there. So like how there is Hornby and Sockburn in Christchurch well something like that. Anyways Dad dropped mum and I off at the mall. I didn’t really think much of it because it was just a same old plain mall. We entered the mall and the first thing we went to was a store called pagain for mum. She was so fusey because her jeans had some scratches in them that you could hardly see! I said to her “ Mum they look fine you don’t need to waste money on another pair!” Mum said “ No they look bad.” Then I said “Whatever.”

When we got to the store mum walked around and ended up getting the same pants but brand new but, she also got another pair of new jeans. Then the lady who was behind the counter was talking to this older lady. The lady who was working there said to me, “ She doesn’t look 70 ahy!” I said, “Is she 70 she hardly looks like it!” After Mum went to go try on the pants! I got the most boring job in the world and had to wait and wait and wait! The bad part was that I had to hold all the bags and I didn’t have my phone. It was like the end of the world without my phone because I couldn’t listen to Shawn Mendes! Whatever was I gonna do! I came up with an idea scare my mum! My mission was the scare my mum! I decided to hide in the changing room next to her but far in the corner. She came out and I said, “BOO!” Mum went “ahhhh”. Then I just started laughing but then she went up to go buy her clothes and the lady working there said not to be rude but when were you born? My mum said like 19 something idk. The lady said you don’t look 40 she said. Anyways we went around more shops until Mum was hungry.

She said want to get some McDonalds? I was thinking in my head “Ugh I’m starting to get sick of it but I do feel like a frozen coke!”

We went to McDonalds and we ended up getting a cheeseburger, some chips and a drink each. I got my frozen coke and it was wonderful! After that I wanted to go to Adidas and we did. I got some new Adidas shoes they were so comfortable. The shoes are mainly all black with the Adidas logo on it! After that we went to stirling sports (because mum wanted too.) We went in there and mum got me a Nikey bag. Anyways after that we went to a bit more shops then we went onto the street! Before we went to the street I got another frozen coke. Later on the street we went to like those cheap stores.

That part is so boring but when we got back to the hotel room I turned to t.v on and guess who was on t.v! SHAWN MENDES! I was screaming and celebrating and my mum asked me, “what is it?” I said “SHAWN MENDES IS ON THE TV!” Dad said “turn it off next!” Then I said “But it is Shawn Mendes.” After a long discussion while I was watching Shawn my mum went on her phone and dad took a shower. When it was over I was about to cry but after it finished it played 3 Shawn Mendes songs they were, Mercy, Stitches and There’s nothing holding me back!

Later on we went to have dinner that part is boring too, so lets skip to tomorrow. *The Next Morning* I got woken up at 2am to go home I was happy because I got to see my little rabbit! 5 hours later we got home it was 7am in the morning. I turned on the tv at home and guess who was on. Thats right Shawn Mendes again. Was I lucky that Shawn Mendes kept being on the tv idk.

I think that will end the story because that day was long after watching Shawn on tv. I enjoyed going to Nelson because I got to go shopping! I hope we can go to a different mall next time.

My Poem

We have been doing poetry for the last week. This is my one can you guess the animal I have wrote about if so have a go in the comments and please give me feedback. Thank you! 😆

You Need To Be More Healthy

This is my persuasive writing to my dad to tell him that he needs to be more healthy. Please give me feedback about it thank you!

Introduction:

Dad, Dad, Dad. You need to be more healthy like eat more vegetables and fruit. Mum keeps telling you to eat more fruit and vegetables ,so now I am writing a story for you. My question is do you want to be more healthy and get more exercise?

Paragraph 1:

Where to start first… oh yes, exercise. You don’t have to get really fit, but just be a bit fit. I think that you could run or walk Tarsa (the dog) around the block. Then she could get exercise too. I strongly recommend you to play a sport or you could join my Karate so I can watch you after my class, and hey you could even train with your friends!

Paragraph 2:

Mum keeps telling you to eat more fruit and vegetables. I have something to recommend, how about when you come home from work you can eat an apple or a certain fruit before you get a drink of coke. You could set up a game for yourself. If you eat 5 fruit or vegetables a day you could have any drink you want. Here's a fact! Something really unhealthy for you is that you skip breakfast or lunch or even both and that is not healthy at all. Like the saying mum says to me if you don’t eat your body is not getting fuel it is like not putting gas in a car what happens if it doesn’t get gas? It doesn’t go. So if you don’t eat food you get really tired because of lack of energy. So stop skipping meals it is NOT good for you at all.

Paragraph 3:

Getting sleep is important to everyone and their body, even animals like dogs, rabbits even horses have to sleep. If you don’t get enough sleep,  you may, you may, you may DIE or just get really sick! Anyways adults need roughly about 8 hours of sleep each night. Children need about 10 hours of sleep. Sleep rest your body ready for the next day and yes it is good for you. Honestly you need to get a good amount of sleep. 7 or 6 hours of sleep isn't enough sleep so try get that 8 in.

Conclusion:

I think being healthy is really good for your body. Look at it this way you don’t have to see the doctor for a while , well that's if you don’t really like the doctor. If you are healthy you won’t have as much risk of getting sick in the future. So stay healthy!

Dear Mr Sutton

I am writing this letter to you because I have came to a conclusion that we should be allowed gum at school. I feel very annoyed that we can not have gum because it is a good and quite thing to do in class, plus you can still pay attention.  There are many solutions as well to get people who chew gum loudly with their mouth open to stop.  Here are my reasons why we should have gum. In this letter I will analyze to you my reasoning. If people have bad breath they can have some gum and feel minty. Chewing gum is good if you are bored and you can chew it quietly while paying attention and not wasting any time. Most importantly it does not make you feel hungry in class because of the flavour.

Don’t you hate when people have bad breath like a dog. It stinks so bad. If gum was at school this would not happen. Like if you go to speak to someone up close and they breath out through their mouth and say something and you get a really horrible smell up your nose YUCK! Teachers and Students work close together when they are sharing their work and have been asked to go up to the teacher's desk. Then you start reading your story and your breathe is disgusting, but what happens if you forgot to brush your teeth? Where as I said this would not happen as often if there was gum being allowed at school.

What happens when you are bored in class and you need to do something and listen at the same time. Gum can do the trick! The reason why is because the teacher is writing something on the board and the also the teacher is explaining it, but you really have to listen to what the teacher is saying and you are so bored and it is so boring like a cardboard box. Gum to the rescue! There is a problem what about the loud gum chewers? Well there are truckloads of solutions like if they can not chew it quietly they have to spit it out into a Rubbish Bin. Anyways gum will let you listen and write down notes at the same time. It will also make it enjoyable for your mouth as it will also have something to do.

It has came to my concern that have you ever had that bad feeling in your stomach? How you feel really hungry in class and can’t wait to eat something and all you can think about is food. Well while you are at your desk you really need food right then and now? Well just have some gum and chew it a few times and the hungry feeling might go away. Plus in America or another country like that there could be all different flavours of gum like pizza, hotdog or even chips but etc.  (Change)

Gum would be good at school because it may help people with their grades and keep people more on task. So they would not have to smell bad breath, get bored in class and not pay attention by playing with something and not feeling hungry in class. This is why I believe that students like me should be allowed gum at school from now on.

Scooter Writing (Why We SHOULD Have Scooters At School)

Most people in my class wrote about why we shouldn't have scooters at school. Well instead of the negative problems I thought I would do the Positive! Hope you like me writing and please give me some feedback!

Dear Mr Sutton

I think scooters should  be allowed at Hornby High School because they’re a faster way of getting to school and class, they will make students more active and because students can teach each other new skills and tricks.       

My first point of having scooters at Hornby High School is that some Students at break time sit down and go on their devices. But if scooters were not ban at school, In my opinion I think more people would not go on their devices. If scooters were allowed at break time it would make this time more fun and it is something different as well. What I mean by this is more options to go play or do, so it would not get boring which has brought me to my next point.

Scooters can get people to places faster like class. If the Students who are riding their scooters to their next class they would have to be careful but anyways. If you get to class early it means you will get exceptional seats and get settled in quicker. Also if you are always late to class this means you are wasting your learning time. What happens if there was a huge test that you have been studying for a long time, will this affect your grades? If not you will still want to be early to class. In my opinion if people come in class late and people are doing a test this disrates students, but if you could get to class a lot faster by scooter this would not happen as often.

My last point is children like to do tricks on their scooters. I think some tricks are dangerous and that if Children want to do tricks that they should bring safety gear. But if some children want to learn a trick or have been learning it for a long time another person could give them some tips or help them learn it. After if you are superb at scootering and have been practicing for a long time with other people's advice, this could become your future job and hey who knows, you could be famous for it!?

What I am saying is that I think, all schools should allow scootering because it is excellent exercise and stops most people on their devices during their break time, gets people to class faster and you can also learn amazing tricks.

The Four Spheres- DRAFT

Explanation- The Four Spheres 

Some of you maybe thinking what are the four spheres? What even are spheres? Well there are four spheres they are called the Biosphere, Geosphere, Hydrosphere and Atmosphere. Also I will be mentioning what the spheres are, and how they work together. An interesting  fact is that the start of all of these spheres is a Greek word. So Bio is Greek for life, Geo is Greek for Ground, Hydro is Greek for water and Atmo is Greek for air. 

Biosphere

The Biosphere is all living things like trees, plants, grass and so on. The Biosphere and the Hydrosphere works together. How? You may think. Well the Biosphere is all living things as I said, like trees, grass plants and other things as well. The Hydrosphere gives them water so they can become apart of the Biosphere.

All of the four spheres help the Biosphere. The Geosphere gives the Biosphere a home to live in. Because the Geosphere is dirt well the ground. So when a seed goes into the ground like a tree or something like that, the Geosphere gives it a home to grow roots.

How the Atmosphere helps the Biosphere is that plants, trees needs oxygen. The Atmosphere is oxygen a.k.a air. Another good thing about the Biosphere is that when the Atmosphere gives the trees oxygen we breath in air and out again. When we breath out the trees do something with the air. So the Atmosphere and people are helping the Biosphere.

Geosphere

 The Geosphere is non-living things like rocks. But what you may not of known about the Geosphere is that, there is layers of the Geosphere. Did you know the crust of the earth is three times thicker under the ocean!  

The first layer of the earth is the crust. The earths crust extends to about twenty-five miles. Did you know the crust of the earth is three times thicker under the ocean! Anyways after the crust there is the mantle. Did you know the Mantle is the largest layer of the earth? So Geosphere is the largest layer of the earth.

The first fifty miles of the mantle is very hard rigid rocks. After that about 150 miles of the mantle is super hard solid rock. Several hundred miles is made up of super hot rock. Goss is this mantle ever gonna end? Any ways lets skip to the inner core. The inner core is the hottest part of the earth and it is as hot as the suns surface. Some of you may wondering why hasn't it cooled down after all these years? Well the truth is that it is cooling this very moment.  

Lets go back up to the surface. How does the Geosphere work with all the spheres? The Geosphere is solid ground. So like soil, concert all that stuff. So how I think the Geosphere works with the Biosphere is that it gives the Biosphere a home. How it works with the Hydrosphere is the Geosphere is a riverbed so the Geosphere provides a home for rivers,lakes and the sea. How it works with the Atmosphere is that the Geosphere is held down with gravity.

Hydrosphere
The Hydrosphere would have to be the most Interesting sphere. The Hydrosphere is all about water which means there is a water cycle. There are three stages to the water cycle. The first one is Evaporation. Evaporation comes from the heat of the sun. The heats warms up all the groundwater and then changes from liquid to a gas. Before it is just about to go to the clouds it is the second step of the water cycle. The second step is called Condensation. This is when it starts drifting up to the clouds. But what changes it into rain is the third step of the water cycle. The third step is call Precipitation which turns it into rain. When the cloud gets to heavy it drops the rain. But it is just not rain, it could be snow, sleet or hail. Then it does it all over again.

Any water can be used for the water cycle like salty or fresh water. 97% of earth is salty water and 39% is fresh water. But what are some problems that the water cycle would face from us humans? The water is getting pollutant, people throwing rubbish into lakes or rivers and other problems.

Atmosphere
Did you know that there is 5 layers of the Atmosphere. The first one is called the Troposphere. The Troposphere is the lowest Atmosphere. It extends to 4-10 miles out. Oh and did you know the higher a plane goes the more it gets colder. Anyways the second part of the Atmosphere is called the Stratosphere. At the Stratosphere you will find the ozone layer and where you will find planes zooming around. The Stratosphere extends to about 30-35 miles out.

The third layer if the Atmosphere is the Mesosphere. The Mesosphere extends out to 50 miles and where you will find meteors burning. The fourth layer of the Atmosphere is called the Thermosphere. The Thermosphere has lonosphere in it and fin electrically charge here. The lonosphere helps to transmit radio waves. Also the air is very thin in the Thermosphere but it extends about 400 miles out. The last layer of the Atmosphere is called the Exosphere. The Exosphere also has thin air like the Thermosphere. The Exosphere extends to about 6200 miles from Earth's surface.
 

Holiday Madness But Beware! - DRAFT

Holiday Madness But Beware!

I don’t want to wake up, I don’t want to wake up, as mum tries to wake me up. Saying this in my head ok, ok I will get up. I don’t really want to but whatever. As I woke up a bit more I went to go get dressed, eat breakfast all that boring stuff. But why don’t I get to the fun bit? It all started going to Ella’s house. Ella has brown hair, brown eyes and freckles as well. But she is also a year 8.

When mum dropped me off all of Ella’s sisters were there and so was Samantha who is also a year 8. Ella, Samantha and I made tons of musical.lys until it was time to go. But go where? I wondered. When we got to our destination there was a picnic table with a horseshoe shape 🐎 on the concrete, that the picnic table was absorbed into. Down below there was a mini but steep hill. It lead down to a gooey, sticky mud, which you couldn’t stand into for too long or you would get stuck and your shoes would get ruined, well maybe not to the last part! But down below there were thousands of mini or big holes which crabs lived in. Ella’s dad Simon made a challenge for us. If someone got the biggest crab he would owe us five dollars. It wasn't that much money but still it was money so I got to work. I got to biggest crab and the smallest crab.

A while after that we walked down the the Jetty (the dock). It took forever because we were on a walking track. The best thing about the walk was seeing this amazing pattern on this stone. But if you put your hands on the crumbs for too long… your hands would be the same colour as Donald Trump! Continuing at the end of the walk there were lots of rocks with crabs under them. Sometimes under the rocks there would be thousands of crabs running around like crazy or there would be very little.

Also in plain site there was a dock called “The Jetty”. It had been broken for years but there were 2 young adult’s who were girls walking back to shore on it. So Ella and I asked if we could go on it and Simon said “yes!” As we approached the Jetty the sign said “BEWARE KEEP OUT DANGER!” But Ella and I went through the side of the Jetty also known as the railing. At the start of the bridge it was fine just like a normal dock would be like, but getting closer to the end the obstacles had just become. The first obstacle was one side had sunken which made it into a curved shape. Which meant Ella and I had to walk on the strongest bit but what was funny on the way back was Ella walked on the lowest bit but don’t worry there was still railing.

 Ok going to the end was our mission next obstacle! As we got further out there was a piece of wood missing so we had to jump over that. Walking down closer and closer to the end another curve shape and remember walk on the strongest bit again. At a certain part the wood was all rotten and a different colour it didn’t look new anymore like at the start. This time there was a pier of rotten ran down stairs which had also been broken by the water.

Ella and I were almost at the end there were way more obstacles than I have mentioned. But the biggest most scariest one which Ella even didn’t do was... a huge gap which you could see the water waiting to catch you as it was bashing up against the razor sharp rocks! You didn’t think I jumped across it, no way but there was another way. There was a plank that looked like it was from a pirate ship nailed down to the rotten dock. I really wanted to get to the end so I walked across the plank of wood balancing my way on top of it.

With just a few more steps to go I reached the end and then eventually Ella decided to come across. We went all the way out to the end even touching the rotten railing at the end. After that we were looking out across the dazzling sparkly ocean and being kooky by taking thousands of photos of the sea and the Jetty.

On our way back most people were looking at us (we didn’t really care too much tho.) Climbing down off the Jetty was harder than climbing up onto it because there was a small bit of wood sticking out of the Jetty that you could stand on. Then put your feet on a very stable bit of rock.

After walking back to the car it was so, so, so, so, so, so, so scorching hot! So when we got near a dairy we all got ice creams! Soon Simon dropped me off home for Karate. So that the is the story of me walking on the Jetty.

Her long hair was a flowing golden river. Nobody couldn’t stop looking at it. With its golden flow. She feels that life is a fashion show. As she is walking past everyone at the fair.  She is a shining star. Spinning around up and down round and round on the amusing joy rides. As his words were cotton candy. Since she was so beautiful with her golden hair. Tom’s eyes were ice. He asked her out on a date. Jane’s eyes were fireflies!

After Four years Tom and Jane were married. As Jane walked in the room my kid’s room is a disaster area.  There is undies, dirty clothes and my life is a roller coaster. We moved to  a city and the children were flowers grown in concrete gardens. When my kid came home from school he said “ The computers at school were dinosaurs.”  And Also my teacher is a dragon!

Mary’s eyes were fireflies.

Jane’s ambitions are a house of cards.

The computers at school were dinosaurs.

Rainbows Writing

Last Week for writing we based it off our reading work. Our reading work was about Rainbows so the story is about some kids going to find the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. The words that are in light grey are the words I weeded out.Here is my story.

Rainbows:

Once Upon A Time there were 4 kids called Nicky, Ricky, Kyle and Olivia. Hello, my name is Olivia did you know this is the story about the quest to find the rainbow.

As I woke up in my bed and i heard rain spitting on the window. I went into my brother “Kyle's room” and woke him up boy, that was hard. When he finally got out of bed I called Nicky and said “Do you want to come over?” She said “yes but can my brother Ricky come over too?” We sorted things out on the phone but she said we will be over in 5 minutes!

I rushed off to my room Kyle just stood there and watched tv. I put my rainbow top on and a blue Jacket with some jeans. Then my hair was in a perplexirty the knot all most took over my hole head. I brushed it out I nearly howel as loud as a wolf that hurt then it got there. Kyle just got dress. Bing Bong, went the door bell. I went as fast as road runner to the big black door. It was Nicky and Ricky!

Hey they I looked at the groud and they both had gum boots on so we can go on the quest to find the RAINBOW! My brother and I put our gum boots on too, and then we headed out the door. Nicky shouted ¨Look a rainbow!¨ Thats when Ricky got a idea he said ¨Hey guys lets go get the  pot of gold¨ Kyle looked at Ricky weirdly he said ¨What pot of gold?¨ Ricky shook his head ¨The one at the end of the rainbow¨ Kyle said with an embarrassing face on ¨Um... oh that pot of gold¨. Nicky shouted “LETS GO!” I said “to the hills.”

We ran and ran and ran as fast as lightng and skedaddled to the nice green hills. When we got up there the Rainbow moved so we ran across town. We all had to take a break we sat down for a bit and then countuied. Nicky said¨where d-did i-it g-go?¨ I said to Austraila!”Ricky said how do you know” I said ¨Um, Hello, rainbow tracker¨. We all throught how are we gonna get there well Ricky and Nickys Dad is a piolet so we could go.

 3 hours and five minutes later…

We chased the Rainbow all the way here now where is it Kyle said. I said look maybe we can see at the sky point. We got a bus to sky point I neary fainted because I was scared of highes when we got on the main floor. Kyle, Nicky and Ricky loved the elevater because it went super fast. The rainbow moved again but it looked like to…. MOVIE WORLD!!! Nicky and I cheered. When we got there we went on all of these rides also shopping and got stuff to help us find the raibow. But the Rainbow moved. This time America.

 15 hours later.

We all woke up from our sleep and we arrvied in America where we were going next month for our hoilday but then we had to get back on the plane and go to the Netherlands. 5 weeks later…. The rainbow went. We were all sad but then it came back again. Ricky stopped and said ¨This is a wilde goose chase let me search up rainbow on my smart phone¨” The rest of us just sat there and talked about if Rainbows could’nt be real. Ricky screamed and said really fast “ we can´t see a rainbow it is a optical aperception of an interaction between sunlight and water drops in the sky. It appears to the human eye as an arc composed of coloured bands of light.” That was from his phone. So we are stuck in the netherlands. No silly said Nicky, My dad will take us back home.

3 weeks later….

Nicky and Ricky went home. Kyle and I watched tv and I thourght to my self so Rainbows arn’t real after all.

Then the 4 kids learnt something about rainbows and took that knowleage and told all their friends at school. So the next time Olivia saw a rainbow she think about this fun day the quest to find the rainbow. The End.

In The Trenches-Writing

Dogs pursing a rat around the trench because they were trained to snatch the rats and because it was for the soldiers feast. I wonder if when the dogs went back did the dogs fill their place back into their families?

Rats gnawing soldiers who are alive. Unrolling disease because they were ravenous and because they ate like a bird on dead soldiers. I ponder when the war was over where did the scoundrel rats go?

Dead bodies falling and lying on the floor. They descend because they got shot and knocked over like bowling pins back into the trenches. The soldiers who were dead lying on the floor they could of been shot or died from a category of indisposition. I wonder if they took every single individual dead body back to put them in their graves.

People rushing to the toilet. because the cat sized rats and tea they drank made them sick or have diarrhea. I wonder when everybody left, did the toilet with all the soldiers business in it did it just all  shrivel up?
