So where do I start? Well, sadly I didn't get to do actual athletics because I was away on the day but it seemed like fun. Except in class training/learning for the day was quite fun! I really enjoyed athletics when we got to choose our groups and our events we wanted to do. It was a huge change from year 9 because in year 9 we would go as a group on one advent and I really didn't like that system because I wasn't that confident. Whereas in year 10 it was amazing! I actually really loved how we could go to our groups and even the teacher. Miss Thomas was amazing and in fact, I just told she's taking us for Health. One thing I really liked doing this year was Javelin. Why? Well because I have always seen people do Javelin and have always wanted to do it. Javelin is probably my new favorite event in athletics because even if you are good at it you can always learn how to improve yourself, stance and confidence when throwing. Athletics in class (in groups) was amazing and I think that it needs to be done more often because people like to be trusted and not have teachers watching over their shoulders all the time. I feel like it helps because they can find what they find comfortable and will actually adapt to how they want to be physically active.
