Lost In The City

A Couple of weeks ago our story for my reading group was called Lost In The City. This story was really easy to do the actives. In really pound of myself for this slide show. Hope you like it!

Komodo Dragons

This term for reading one of my groups task was to learn about a Komodo Dragon. First we got a story to read about them. In that story well text there was a lot of information. After we had done that we had to create a slide about them.It was fun!

If Only-Hilton Ayery

This week for reading I was in the pink reading group. We read a story called If Only and it was about dangerous toys and the characters were mum, Uncle Jim, Michael and the storyteller. My teacher gave us some Hilton Ayery activities.

First activate was Applying what was a Newsflash and I was in a little group with Ella and Lorelei who is also in the pink group.

   !NewsFlash!

Alesha: “Hi welcome to World news we are talking about dangerous toys. Dangerous toys are not very good to play with these should be used 18 or over to use these toys.”

Ella: “Now we will get a lovely mother to come in for an interview who has had one of her kids hit in the past and her name is Lorelei.”

Ella: “How did you feel when one of your kids got hit?”

Lorelei(mother): “I was very shocked and very angry she had to stay in hospital for two days!”

Alesha: “How do you feel about these toys?”

Lorelei(mother): “I think these toys should have not been made and I think they should stop making them now!”

Ella: Q. Why are you worried?

Lorelei: A.  Two of my children as been sent to hospital to get stitches from a bow an arrow.

Ella: “So thank you Lorelei for coming in back to you Alesha”

Alesha: “There you have it, please stop using dangerous toys and that's your World news for tonight see you tomorrow.”

The Last activate was Creataing we got to chose 7 or 8 I chose 8 because it was a design brief
