What is it?
Information that gives a bias opinion (one opinion or fake news (one side of the story.)

Where do we see it?
  • Video from the capitol
  • The games itself is propaganda
  • All the tributes are trying to put out propaganda (bias opinions)

Real Message
  • You have fought back once and lost
  • How we can kill your children and there is nothing you can do about it

Propaganda Message
  • It is not a bad thing
  • If you want, you will be a hero to your district
  • The boy and girl in the film big, strong, healthy fit (look like adults)
  • How they remember their past
  • Don’t give detail ‘why’ there was a revolt
  • Played every year (Gale mocks it)

  • Eliminated
  • PeaceKeeper

  • Like the older days (District 12 is in the past and the capitol  is based in the future)
  • One good building - For film and control
  • Materials - Mostly wood

=Hope=

The scene with President Snow

Dialogue
  • The only thing stronger than fear.
  • Link to propaganda - a false sense of hope that at least one will live.

Music
  • Uptempo
  • More aggressive / emotional
