So in home economics, we made muffins, but with a twist. Our teacher made some changes to our recipe to make it healthier. She decided to make them smaller and add in some bananas. The recipe came out like this...
1/2 cup Wholemeal Flour
1/2 cup White Flour
2 Tbsp Brown Sugar
2 Mashed Banana
1/4 cup Unsweetened Low Fat Yoghurt
2 Tbsp Canola Oil
1 Egg
1 tsp Baking Powder
1/4 cup Chocolate Chips

Method for them is to
1. Heat oven to 180c
2. Mix together the wet ingredients
3. Sift and mix together the dry ingredients
4. Mix dry and wet ingredients together
5. Spoon 100g batter into each muffin tin and bake for approximately 15 minutes or until cooked through.
Nutrient Information
These muffins reduced in substituting some of the white flour for wholemeal flour, using less sugar, using less chocolate, replacing milk and one of the eggs with unsweetened low-fat yoghurt and making the muffins smaller.
Information in them are...
Honestly these are way healthier and they actually taste good and are quick and easy to make.
